Picado Beta Terms of Service
Last updated October 31, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Picado beta (“Picado”), operated by Pixel Door (“Pixel Door,” “we” or “us”). By signing in to or using Picado, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Picado. Our Privacy Policy describes how we handle your videos and information.
1. Eligibility and Access
Access to Picado is by invitation only and is free during the beta. Your access is personal to you, and you may not share your sign-in with anyone. You must be at least 18 years old to use Picado. Any paid plans will be subject to separate terms.
2. Your Content
As between you and Pixel Door, you own the videos you upload and the finished videos Picado produces from them. You grant Pixel Door a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, process and transmit your videos, including through our service providers, to operate Picado and to improve its editing, as described in the Privacy Policy. This license ends for each video when that video is deleted.
Pixel Door will not use your videos in its marketing without your separate written consent.
3. Acceptable Use
You represent and warrant that you have all rights necessary to upload each recording, including the consent of every person who can be seen or heard in it and the rights to any music in it. You may not (a) upload unlawful content; (b) access or attempt to access another user’s account or videos; (c) circumvent Picado’s usage limits; or (d) interfere with or overload Picado. Pixel Door may remove any content that violates these Terms.
4. Review Before Publishing
Picado’s edits are generated automatically and may contain errors, including unintended cuts and caption mistakes. You are solely responsible for reviewing your videos before publishing them and for any content you publish.
5. Beta Service
Picado is a beta service under active development. Pixel Door may change, suspend or discontinue any part of Picado, including its features and usage limits, at any time without notice. Picado may be unavailable at times, and videos may be lost. You are responsible for keeping copies of your original recordings and for downloading any finished videos you want to keep.
6. Termination
You may stop using Picado at any time and may request deletion of your account as described in the Privacy Policy. Pixel Door may suspend or terminate your access at any time, for any reason, without notice.
7. Feedback
If you submit feedback or suggestions, Pixel Door may use them for any purpose without compensation or obligation to you.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
PICADO IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. YOU USE PICADO AT YOUR OWN RISK.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PIXEL DOOR IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS OR DAMAGE OF ANY KIND, WHETHER DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF PICADO, INCLUDING LOSS OF VIDEOS, DATA, INCOME OR PROFITS. YOU WAIVE, AND AGREE NOT TO BRING, ANY CLAIM AGAINST PIXEL DOOR ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF PICADO. TO THE EXTENT PIXEL DOOR IS HELD LIABLE NOTWITHSTANDING THE FOREGOING, ITS TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO PICADO WILL NOT EXCEED US$100.
10. Indemnification
You will defend, indemnify and hold harmless Pixel Door from and against any claim, liability, loss, cost or expense, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising from your content, your use of Picado or your breach of these Terms.
11. General
Pixel Door may modify these Terms at any time by posting the updated Terms on this page with a new date. Your continued use of Picado after the update constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from or related to these Terms or Picado must be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. Sections 2, 3, 4 and 7 through 11 survive any suspension or termination of your access. If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect. Questions about these Terms may be sent to [email protected].
